The Bendigo Car Club will present the 2022 Mt Tarrengower Historic Hill Climb on the weekend of October 15 to 16 in the historic town of Maldon.

One of the oldest hill climbs in Australia, cars follow the access road from the camping area at the bottom of Mount Tarrengower to the fire lookout at the top.

Vehicles dating pre-1972, motor bikes and sidecars compete to see who can complete the course the fastest. Practice runs will be held throughout Saturday, with timed runs taking place on Sunday from 9 am. For more details head to the Mount Tarrengower Facebook page.

While in Maldon, take the time to visit the classic vehicle display and the Victorian Goldfields Railway for a historical journey of travel through the years.
