Woolworths Maryborough customers can support the Good Friday Appeal through their shopping this month, the supermarket has announced.
During October, shoppers can purchase a $2 token or round up their purchase to the nearest dollar when they shop, with proceeds going to the Good Friday Appeal.
The appeal raises money to enable The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne to provide world class care.
“The Good Friday Appeal is important, as together with our customers we can help provide community members across Victoria with the help they need,” Woolworths Maryborough group manager Robert Sergi said.
“We are extremely grateful for the continuous generosity that our customers bring, providing a positive impact on local families and children.”
Good Friday Appeal executive director Rebecca Cowan said every dollar raised makes a difference to Victorian families.
“Through our partnership with Woolworths, The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal is able to impact the lives of sick children and their families by giving them the brightest possible futures,” she said.
“Every dollar plays a vital role in directly helping Victorian families during a challenging time, and we are thankful for the incredible support from our community.”
