The meeting between Clunes and Beaufort was called off due to Victoria’s heavy rain across Friday and Saturday.

Both teams take home three points as a result — that means Clunes move up to third on the one-day ladder, having had a win, a loss and a no-result, while Beaufort maintain second on the ladder, having won their opening two games of the one-day campaign.

With good conditions forecast for this Saturday, all teams are set to return to the field for round nine of the competition, as well as the fifth round of the A reserve competition.

The Crows will travel to Laanecoorie Dunolly for a top-two showdown while Maryborough will host Clunes as they look to keep their one-day hopes alive. Carisbrook will host the eliminated Colts Phelans.

In A reserve, Carisbrook will host Natte Yallock at Jubilee Oval, while Talbot face Maryborough. Colts Phelans play Beaufort at Hedges Oval, while MKM will host Clunes.
