It was another difficult day for the Carisbrook Lady Redbacks as they were unable to match it with Lake Wendouree.
The Lady Redbacks continued to fight all the way to the end, but they were unable to make any impact on the scoreboard, with the Lakers winning 28.17 (185) to 0.1 (1).

Carisbrook were well-served by the younger brigade, with Tara Kennedy, Olivia Butler, Danae Every, Caitlin Butler and Zeanna Cassells all putting in solid performances.
However, there was a big positive from Sunday’s play, with Carisbrook’s under 16 team taking their first victory of the season, defeating Darley by two points.
Carisbrook’s assignment this week is a tough one, with ladder-leader Redan waiting in the wings.
