The Maryborough Rotary Club launched its flagship project, the sayNO2familyviolence initiative, aimed at reducing incidents of family violence in the community.

Maryborough’s oldest resident, Thelma Lafferty, passed away at the age of 105.

Local Parks Victoria and Department of Environment and Primary industries firefighters were awarded the National Emergency Medal for their contributions during the 2009 bushfires.
