Maryborough Rovers could only manage to kick two goals for the game when they were handed a hiding from Newstead at Princes Park on Saturday.
The Steaders controlled balance for the entirety of the day, starting out with a four-goal to one first quarter, before slotting another four goals to no score to lead by 53 points at the main break.
In what was a carbon copy of the first quarter, Newstead again kicked four goals to one from Rovers as the lead was 76 points at the final change, before the Steaders really turned it on in the last, kicking 10 goals to no score in the last to blow the margin out to 141 points by the end.
Tyler James and Sam Reece were the key focal points for Newstead slotting 11 goals between them.
Young Jedd Pedretti showed out with a best on ground performance, and Mason James, Harrison Harbrow, Toa Green, and Anthony Robins also were outstanding contributors in the big victory.
Marshall Murray, Jack Dawson, Andrew Siekai, Liam Radlof and Blake Dawson all tried hard for Rovers in the very difficult conditions.
