Team Lazaros win in Melbourne
Team Lazaros BJJ and Muay Thai have continued their torrid form in competitions, with Alayla Savvidis and Marlee Jez collecting golds for the team on Sunday.

The duo entered into the ADCC Melbourne Open at Notting Hill, with the competition boasting unique rules.
Competitors scored no points in the first four minutes of the eight-minute contest, encouraging competitors to go for submission victories.
Savvidis made the most of the rules in the women’s 70kg + division, registering a submission in just over a minute in the semi-final before winning gold with a submission in just over two minutes.
The result builds on Savvidis’ very successful March, winning two golds at the ACT Jiu Jitsu championships earlier in the month.
Jez also won a walkover gold on Sunday after no one else entered her division.
