There has been an increase in new juniors of various ages from five to 11, plus new adults and teenagers join the club.

The increased participation supports the popularity of Taekwondo which emphasizes physical fitness, self-defence, mental discipline and character development, making it attractive to a wide range of individuals.

Many of the students use their training to cross-train for other sports such as netball and football.

A number of these junior students recently achieved their grading success under the guidance of Maryborough Martial Arts head instructors Brian and Heather Carr.
