The Maryborough Swimming Club held their annual meet for 2023 on Sunday, February 5 at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre in Bendigo.
Fifty-six events were held on the day, with 177 athletes across 14 districts supporting and participating in the event.
Fourteen club members from Maryborough swam in the event throughout the day, with a bevy of personal bests achieved.
However, the best achievement of the day from the Maryborough Swimming Club was Poppy Smith, who achieved District 15 qualifying times.
The club’s next assignment is their meet at Castlemaine this Sunday, before heading to the All Junior Qualifiers event in Swan Hill on February 26.
