NATTE BEALIBA (84) def TALBOT (26)

Natte Bealiba kept up the pressure on Avoca in the battle for top spot, recording the highest amount of goals scored in a game this season with their 84-goal performance against Talbot.

The Swans were consistent from the outset, scoring no less than 17 goals in any quarter as they proved far too strong for the Hawks.

A 21-goal to four opening quarter well and truly set the Swans on their way to a big percentage boosting victory, and this was only improved in the second quarter when they had their most potent period in attack, scoring 24 goals to the Hawks’ nine.

Natte continued to maintain the rage in the third quarter, scoring another 22 goals to the Hawks’ five to lead 67-18 at three-quarter-time.

The Hawks had their best period in the last quarter, scoring eight goals while restricting the Swans to 17, but it was not enough to prevent them from going down 84-26.

Shannae Mills was Natte’s best, well supported by Naomi Medlyn and Anna Mortlock, while Jess White scored 52 goals.

For Talbot, Elise Decaria, Jacqueline Wardlaw and Charlotte Roche were among Talbot’s best, with Decaria scoring 18 goals.
