In the open male category, it was regular runner Matthew Morse who produced a stellar performance to win in the highly competitive time of 44:32.

Martin Mark produced a steady performance to win the 50+ male category in a time of 59:16.

Young Ella Govan also enjoyed the U16 female long course, powering to the finish line to beat her 2024 female long course record in a strong time of 46:43.

Emily Coutts also finished strongly to win the open female long course category in the impressive time of 59:46.

Australian Aqua-bike team member Jane Anderson was not to be outdone, winning the 50+ female category in 80:00.

The short course (4.9 km), which involved three laps of the walking track, was highly competitive, with a field of open male participants who all took a real liking to the course conditions to produce strong times.

All participants maintained excellent form throughout the 4.9 km, with Cooper Mark surging late to finish in first place (20:59), with Josh Britten (22:30) and Will Coutts (23:20) crossing the finish line just behind.

As the June event was the last of the 2024/25 club championship season, the club will now celebrate its club presentation dinner on Friday, July 11 from the Bull & Mouth Hotel.

All current and past members, friends, and family are invited to come along to celebrate the achievements of the club and its members throughout the last 12 months.
