All the best from the weekend of sport as Maryborough held their best and fairest, while the Maryborough Highland Society welcomed lawn bowls back.

Troy and Lachlan Bursill were voted as Maryborough’s best senior and junior club person of the year.
Maggie Tranter and Natasha Howell were voted as Maryborough’s netball club people of the year.
Bowls returned to the Maryborough Highland Society for their season launch on Saturday afternoon, with club secretary Jason Arthur bowling with teammates intently watching on.
There was a great number of players at the Highland Society keen to get back into the swing of things with a friendly game.
Highland Society life member Andy Brumby presented Anne Canterbury with the Legacy donation of $1267.
