The MDCA currently hold onto the Sharp Shield thanks to their success in mid-January at Princes Park.

On that occasion, it was Sergio Rosier who was able to guide the MDCA to 5/222 with an unbeaten 69 — a prelude to his sensational Country Week campaign, while Oddie made 50.

Ben Grant stole the show with the ball, with the exciting Beaufort speedster taking 3/18 to dominate affairs.
