Missing Dunolly man Michael Parker found alive

Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in the search for Michael Parker.

Michael went missing from his Dunolly home at about 10 pm on Tuesday, November 24

Search and Rescue, Mounted Branch, local police, CFA and SES volunteers conducted a thorough search of the Dunolly area today.

Michael was located on McKinnon Road at about 6.35 pm and was being checked by ambulance crews.

Goldfields Police Service Area Inspector Donna Mitchell said police are concerned for the health of missing Dunolly man Michael Parker as the search continues around the township.

"The search is continuing, we haven't had any luck finding him yet," she said.

"He hasn't taken off in a car, hasn't taken his mobile phone or wallet. He suffers a medical condition and he's on daily medication so we're fairly worried about his health."

Insp Mitchell said police are working with Mr Parker's brother.

"We're looking around Michael's house and basically doing a grid search through the whole Dunolly town," she said.

Insp Mitchell said the search will continue tomorrow and urged anyone with information to ring 000 or Maryborough Police Station on 5460-3300.

Police have expanded their search for missing Dunolly man, Michael Parker.

The 67-year-old was last seen at his home about 10 pm on Tuesday, November 24.

Search and Rescue, Mounted Branch, local police, CFA and SES volunteers are currently searching the Dunolly area for Michael.

Police have released an image of Michael in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.

Anyone who sights Michael is urged to contact 000 or Maryborough Police Station on 5460-3300.
