It was heartbreak for Royal Park as Trentham overcame a six-goal half time deficit to overhaul the Tigers by three goals.
Bushy were looking to respond after losing to Carisbrook last week, while the Saints were looking to start 2-0.
It was a good start for the Tigers as they were able to control most facets of the game in the opening quarter, defending well and putting scoreboard pressure on. In contrast to their 18 goals last week, Bushy had 14 on the board by the end of the first change, while holding Trentham to 10.
Bushy were able to extend their lead going into half time, scoring 12 goals to 10 to take a 26-20 lead into the main break.
But Trentham started to take control of the game as the second half started, and were able to begin to take control across the court.
They held Royal Park to just six goals in the third quarter, while scoring 11 themselves, to be in the perfect position to strike in the final term as they trailed 31-32.
The Saints did exactly that, as they ran over the top of Bushy to score 13 goals to nine in the final term to take a three-goal victory.
The work of Sharna Ford, who moved from center to goal attack, saw her put together a good goal circle combination with Zahlia Turton and Hayley Bourke, with the trio scoring 13, 17 and 10 goals apiece.
For Royal Park, Abbey Devereaux led the way with 21 goals, while Jess Egan scored 20.
