The Maryborough District Health Service is partnering with the Bendigo District Aboriginal Cooperative (BDAC) to invite Koori community members to attend a free barbecue tomorrow.
The event is a chance for families to have a chat over at the skate park as school holidays begin, and to allow the health service to hear about the type of programs and services the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community want here in Maryborough.
Residents can also meet the health service’s Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officers, Kymberley and Tonya, and representatives from BDAC and the local Aboriginal Engagement Group.
The barbecue will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, September 20 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Maryborough Skate and Scooter Park at the Adventure Playground off Park Road.
For more information contact the health service’s Kymberley or Tonya on 5461-0333.
