Proposal to change weather district boundaries raises CFA, farmer concerns
Victorians will soon notice redesigned Fire Weather Districts (FWD) with the CFA proposing new boundaries in line with climate change and advances in determining weather conditions.
While still not finalised by the CFA, there are currently 14 proposed updated Fire Weather Districts, with Central Goldfields Shire allocated to Area 6 alongside Hepburn and Pyrenees Shire. Image: Supplied.
