Local police are investigating a burglary which happened at the Maryborough Golf Club last month.
Local police are investigating a burglary which happened overnight, February 19 into 20, at the Maryborough Golf Club.
Due to the investigation’s sensitivity The Maryborough District Advertiser will publish further details of the incident as the investigation progresses.
While the burglary is understood to have had a significant impact on the business Mary-borough Golf Club general manager Bonaventure Tai acknowledged the community’s ongoing support.
“I put my hand on heart that the community was as upset as I was that this had happened,” he said.
“It’s amazing how a small community like Maryborough gets behind local businesses.
“The support of the community has been overwhelming.”
Maryborough police were unable to comment before print deadline.
