Police appeal for information on Burke Street pedestrian crossing incident - feature photo

Police are appealing to members of the public to come forward with information on an incident between a car and pedestrians outside the Coles/Kmart carpark in Maryborough on Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at about 11.30 am on the pedestrian crossing outside the shopping centre, when an erratically driven silver/grey Ford station wagon entered the carpark from Burke Street — with anincidentoccurringbetween the vehicle and several people who were using the pedestrian crossing at the time.

The same vehicle was involved in a collision at the intersection of Burns and Nolan streets soon after where it mounted the centre median area and damaged a sign.

Police are seeking dash cam footage and would like to speak to the people using the pedestrian crossing at the time of the incident. Police have identified the vehicle involved.
