Asteria hosted the final event of their All Abilities Tri State Games last Friday with a highly successful come and try cricket day.
Asteria hosted the final event of their All Abilities Tri State Games last Friday with a highly successful come and try cricket day.
Held at the Maryborough Sports and Leisure Centre, more than 60 participants, support workers and supporters from Maryborough, St Arnaud and Bendigo were in attendance for a fun and inclusive day of physical activity.
Coach Dan Schuppan took players through a range of skills and drills stations before moving into games of rapid cricket, a fast, fun and inclusive style of cricket that everyone really enjoyed.
The All Abilities Tri State Games, made possible thanks to the Regional All Abilities Participation Grant, provides oppurtunities for participation, inclusion and community connection across the region through sport, with participants also enjoying Basketball and Netball days.
