A P plate driver has had her licence suspended after allegedly crashing into a parked car along Derby Road last week and returning a breath test more than three times the legal blood-alcohol limit.
Officers were called to the incident along Derby Road, just outside Maryborough at around 8.55 pm last Friday, April 14.
According to police, it’s alleged the female driver crashed into a parked car, pushing it into another vehicle.
The driver — a 31-year-old P plater from Maryborough — was taken to a police station for an evidentiary breath test where she returned an alleged reading of .168 [P plate drivers must have a zero blood alcohol].
Her licence was immediately suspended.
It is expected the woman will be charged on summons in relation to drink driving and other traffic matters.
She will face Maryborough Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
No one was injured in the incident.
