The final scheduled match of A reserve for 2023 did not go ahead on Saturday, with Natte Bealiba unable to get a team up for their clash with Talbot.

It means that the competition is now set to resume on January 20, with no cricket in the competition played since November 18.

Talbot now move up into top spot owing to a better quotient, with Maryborough close behind, while Clunes and Natte Yallock in the top four as the competition moves into the second half of the season.

Round seven will see MKM travel up to Beaufort in a clash between two winless teams, while Maryborough will host Carisbrook at Princes Park.

Talbot will host Colts Phelans in a clash between first and fifth on the ladder, while a top four battle between Natte Yallock and Clunes rounds out the first round back in action for 2024.
