Three local nbn information sessions will be held in the region next week to provide localised information to residents and businesses.
One will run at the Maryborough Community House, the second is a business breakfast held in conjunction with the Committee for Maryborough, and the third is for the Talbot community.
The presentation will provide residents with information about local nbn upgrades and business connectivity available in the region, and answer local questions with the nbn North West Vic team.
Head of nbn local Victoria Emily Peel said the presentations are good opportunities for both residents and businesses.
“We are focused on being a trusted voice and ally for those living within regional and remote communities,” she said.
“How we use the internet has significantly changed the last few years and fast broadband is critical to working from home, entertainment or running a business.”
The first session will be held on Monday, June 17 from 1.30 to 3 pm at the Maryborough Community House on 23 Primrose Street.
On Wednesday, July 19, the Maryborough Golf Club session will run from 7.30 to 9 am.
The Talbot session will take place on the same day (July 19) from 11 am to 1 pm at London House Community Hub on Market Square, Scandinavian Crescent.
