Navarre handed Avoca a hiding at the Avoca Public Park on Saturday by 107 points.

The Hoppers opened with an eight-goal opening term while keeping the Bulldogs to just one goal for the quarter.

Avoca was a much more competitive unit in the second quarter kicking four goals, but Navarre kicked five goals to maintain the status quo.

It was another struggle in the second half for Avoca which has been a bit of a consistent theme this season as the Grasshoppers completely outplayed the home team in every avenue on the field.

Cody Driscoll was unstoppable up forward snagging nine goals as the Bulldogs had no answer for the elusive forward who has played a major role in Navarre’s resurgence, with the Hoppers having now won their last eight games in succession.

Driscoll was named the best player and he was joined by Riley Bibby, Lachlan Slorach, Jack Jess, Jesse Hannett, and Will Marshman.

Avoca’s Joel Antonio continues to shine for the Bulldogs as their best player, with Brad Martland, Bryce Howell, Jason Hunt, and Bryce Antonio also figuring well as did Darcy Carey in his 250th game for the club.
