Navarre completely dominated their game against Campbells Creek to jump back into the top eight, winning by 159 points.
Ash Driscoll was the key forward for Navarre kicking 10 goals for the home team and he will be inspired by his recent form after fighting his way back from injury last season.
Creek may have been held scoreless, but they did a great job to restrict the Hoppers to just three opening quarter goals.
But the floodgates opened after the first term, and it was only inaccurate kicking that kept the scoreline under 30 goals.
Navarre’s key defender Jayden Fowkes was unpassable in his best on ground display, while Driscoll was obviously also among the better players for the Hoppers as was, Louis Hannett, Josh Fowkes, Brady Tillig, and Wil Clough.
As per usual, Creek tried hard all day and none epitomised this more so than Michael Dettmer, Tyson Williams, Jordan Baker, Nicholas O’Brien, and Brock Munn.
The Magpies have a home game next week and hopefully this will help them in their contest against Royal Park.
