TALBOT (18) def by NATTE BEALIBA (74)

Natte Bealiba weren’t in the mood to give Talbot a sniff, taking a 56-goal victory in their meeting on Saturday.

The Swans started well enough, giving themselves an 11-goal break early on thanks to their 17 goals to six, but really went into overdrive from then on to give themselves some percentage in their race for top spot with Carisbrook.

Fifteen goals to three in the second quarter saw the Swans extend their lead to 23 goals at the main break, before scoring another 20 goals to four in the third quarter to take a 39-goal break into the last quarter.

The Swans scored 22 goals to finish off the game, while holding Talbot to five, to give themselves a strong win.

Playing-coach Emma Ryan was at her best for Natte Bealiba, scoring 53 goals, while Lavinia Martin scored 16.

For Talbot, Dom Roche and Tia Skelton scored nine goals apiece.
