Natte Bealiba underlined their class throughout the afternoon against Campbells Creek, dominating every aspect of the game and rewarded with a stunning 94-goal haul.
The Swans had to fight off some Campbells Creek resistance early in the game, with the Magpies scoring seven goals and holding the Swans to 17, but it was the second quarter where they really took control of the game.
They scored 32 goals in an extremely high-scoring quarter, as Campbells Creek, who scored six goals of their own, were powerless to stop the Swans’ onslaught.
There was no mercy shown in the third quarter as the Swans continued on their merry way, scoring 21 goals while holding the Magpies to just three goals, to extend their lead to 54 goals at the final break.
Creek had their most competitive quarter from an offensive standpoint in the last term, scoring nine goals, but it was Natte’s day as they set a marker for their back-to-back premiership aspirations with a devastating display.
Central to that was Emma Ryan, who scored an incredible 76 goals, while Shannae Mills added 18.
For Campbells Creek, Jordan Bagley led the way with 15 goals.
