NATTE BEALIBA (64) def NAVARRE (29)

Natte Bealiba kept their chances of the minor premiership intact, while at the other end of the scale, Navarre fell out of the top eight for the first time this season.

It was a comfortable go-to-whoa victory for the Swans, who dominated all facets of the game.

They scored 17 goals in the opening term, while restricting the Hoppers to just five, to take a 12-goal lead going into the first change, and had an equally-dominant second quarter, scoring 13 goals to four to open up a 21-goal lead at the main break.

As the game went on, Navarre were a little more competitive in the front half, but were unable to stop the Swans’ powerful offence from clicking on all cylinders.

They added another 17 goals in the third quarter, while Navarre scored nine to make it a 29-goal lead at the final change.

The Hoppers’ most competitive quarter was their last quarter, scoring 11 goals, but could not prevent the Swans from scoring another 17 goals as they eventually won by 35 goals.

Emma Ryan again turned the wick up in front of goal, scoring on 47 occasions for the Swans, while for Navarre, Darcy Crawford led the way with 19 goals.
