It was clear from the start of play that Natte were out for blood, with a huge 25-goal quarter, and eventual 18-goal lead, all but signifying the game’s outcome after just 15 minutes.

While Dunolly remained com-petitive, scoring 11 goals to increase their own score out to 18 in the second quarter, the effort was dwarfed by Natte’s netball prowess — increasing their own score out to 49.

This aggression from the Swans simmered in the third quarter, with 20 goals scored compared to eight from home side Dunolly, but the damage had already been done.

Adding a further 15 goals to the tally in the final quarter, the Swans were well and truly uncatchable for the Dunolly Hawks despite nine respectable goals of their own.

The Swans’ final score of 84 marks their highest for the season, and bears a clear message of finals intentions to other sides this season.

Dunolly’s scoring duo of Lillie Wrigley and Zoe Aldridge fought hard all day but were up against it from the outset, scoring at just above 50 percent accuracy admidst strong defence from Natte.

By comparison, the Swans’ Emma Ryan had a stunning day out — scoring a whopping 74 goals as goal shooter, with fellow scorer Shannae Mills adding 10 of her own.
