Natte Bealiba responded in fine fashion to win by 41 goals over Trentham, who are now just holding on to a spot in the top eight.

The result means Natte have been able to stay within half a game of Carisbrook on top of the ladder, while for Trentham, a fourth consecutive loss has seen them drop down to eighth.

A fast start was the catalyst for Natte, scoring 20 goals to five to take a 15-goal lead into quarter time.

Trentham had a much more competitive second quarter as they tried to close the gap, scoring 11 goals, but it was to no avail, as Natte added another 12 to increase their lead to 16 going into the main break.

From there, Natte took complete control, scoring 16 goals to five in the third quarter to increase their lead to 27 goals at the last change, before scoring a further 19 goals to five to turn it into a big win.

Emma Ryan scored 54 goals, while Lavinia Martin added another 12 for Natte, while Hayley Bourke led the way for Trentham with 13 goals.
