Montague takes gold
Team Lazaros BJJ and Muay Thai have once again had a strong showing in competition, with Bibby Montague winning two golds in the Savage Grappling event in Broadmeadows on Sunday.

Competing in a best of three round robin format across two categories, Montague’s commitment and dedication to training for nearly a year paid off with four victories from her five matches.
Despite not having the weight advantage, Montague managed to go undefeated in the no gi teen 15 year old grey belt division with her technical ability proving to be the deciding factor.
After splitting the first two matches with her opponent in the teen 15 year old grey belt gi division, Montague was able to keep her composure and take out the deciding bout with a 7-0 points victory.
