MDHS to hold AGM and awards
The Maryborough District Health Service (MDHS) is inviting community members to attend the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) this week.

The AGM will showcase annual highlights, recognise staff through the GREAT People and Service Awards, with an opportunity to hear from guest speaker Scott Wilson.
Former director of support services Scott Wilson will share insights about the roll out of Maggie Beer Foundation’s Trainer Mentor Program at Wattle Rise Residential Community in Maryborough.
The program, along with other new innovations, is improving nutrition and the dining experience for residents.
“Our broad vision is to change the healthcare story with our community,” MDHS board of directors chair Dr Judy Lowthian said.
“It’s been a big year and the AGM is a chance to reflect on what we’ve achieved together.
“We encourage everyone to come along, celebrate our health service and our staff, and learn more about how we’re improving care and experiences for patients, residents and families.”
A light supper inspired by Maggie Beer will be provided.
MDHS’ 2025 Annual General Meeting and Awards will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3 from 6 until 8 pm at the MDHS Cafe, located at the Maryborough Hospital.
