Labor’s Martha Haylett joined Central Goldfields Shire mayor Grace La Vella, councillor Chris Meddows-Taylor and Rail Revival Alliance president Noel Laidlaw on the first additional weekend rail service on the Maryborough line.
The new services arrive in Maryborough at 10.46 am and depart at 3.17 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
