Local freemasons mark Easter in Maldon
Freemasons from across Victoria, including locally, once again joined in the longest running Easter parade held in Australia at Maldon.

The parade was watched by a large crowd, with bands and participants always going around twice (just in case spectators missed something the first time around).
Following the parade freemasons, along with their family and friends joined together for a barbecue luncheon held at the Maldon Masonic Centre where the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of Victoria presented the highest award given to women who support the organisation.
Local resident Helen Calder was awarded the Grand Masters Order of Merit (OMM).
Plans are already underway to make next year bigger and better as the day has now become an annual event on the Masonic calendar.
