With his previous contract set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, Lohmann has secured his future in Brisbane until 2027.

The 21-year-old had a season to remember in 2024, breaking into the Lions team which won the clubs first premiership in over 20 years.

Lohmann kicked 36 goals in 27 games, including four on the grandest stage of them all to help the Lions lift the premiership cup.

After receiving plenty of interest from multiple Victorian clubs during the 2023 trade period, Lohmann said to afl.com.au he feels more at home in Brisbane than ever before.

“(Back then) I wasn’t playing (seniors) and I was a little homesick as well,” he said.

“The club’s been great over the time I've been here and now it feels like home and was an easy decision for me.

“I truly love coming to work every day, seeing the boys, seeing the great people all involved, from the players to the fans.

“You come in every day and have fun. There’s a lot of great things to look forward to in the future, and hopefully I can contribute a lot to that.”
