Lifeblood rolls into town next week
One in three people in Maryborough will need blood during their lifetime, and Lifeblood is asking residents to pull up their sleeves when the Mobile Blood Donor Centre returns next week.

According to Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, Australia needs over 1.7 million blood donations every year to meet demand, equating to a donation every three minutes.
Donated blood supports patients with cancer and blood diseases, heart, organ and other non-orthopaedic surgeries, fractures and joint replacements, pregnant women and road incidents.
The Mobile Blood Donor Centre will be located at the grandstand area of Princes Park next week on:
Monday, December 23 from 1 to 6 pm
Tuesday, December 24 from 9.15 am to 2 pm
Thursday, December 26 from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm
Friday, December 27 from 7.45 am to 1.30 pm
Pre-book your spot at lifeblood.com.au, on the Lifeblood app, or call 13 14 95.
