Lexton moved to within half a game of the top four after defeating Trentham by 22 goals on Saturday afternoon.
After an even opening quarter, in which both teams were able to score 11 goals, it was the Tigers that drew away in the second quarter, scoring 16 goals to eight to lead 27-19 at half time.
It was all Lexton again in the third quarter as they were able to score 12 goals while restricting the Saints to six to set up a match-winning 14-goal break at the final change, leading 39-25.
The Tigers were able to outscore the Saints 15-7 in the final quarter to gain some much needed percentage in the race for fourth, eventually winning 54-32.
For the Tigers, Julia Parkin played a starring role and was adjudged best on court, ably supported by Rachel Phelan and Caitlin Howell, while Leesa Donhardt scored 28 goals and Phelan 26.
For Trentham, Jessica Bourke was their best performer, with Brooke Healy and Hayley Bourke providing support, while Sharna Ford scored 17 goals and Elysia Rose scored 15.
