In a battle of the Tigers, it was Lexton who kept their top four chances in tact with an 11-goal victory over Royal Park, a result which leaves Bushy two games outside the top eight.
Lexton got off to the fast start they needed, scoring 18 goals to eight in the first term to dictate terms.
They continued on their merry way in the middle two quarters, with 14 goals to 10 in the second allowing Lexton to lead by 14 at the main break, before scoring another 12 goals to 10 to extend the lead to a game-high 16 at the last change.
Royal Park fought back admirably well in the last quarter, scoring 13 goals to eight, but the damage was already well and truly done by that point as Lexton kept themselves in the top four with their win.
Rachel Phelan scored 31 goals for Lexton, ably assisted by Leesa Donhardt with 21, while for Royal Park, Abbey Devereaux scored 25 goals and Jess Egan scored 16.
