It was a brilliant four-quarter effort from the Tigers as they showed the form that got them into the grand final last season.
A strong start saw the Tigers lead from the outset, scoring 19 goals to seven in the opening term to lead by 12 goals, before adding to their lead by scoring 17 goals to 11, taking an 18-goal lead into the main break.
After that, the Tigers went into overdrive as they completely dominated the second half. In the third quarter, they were able to score 16 goals to six to increase their lead to 28 goals at the last change.
It was party time for the Tigers after that, scoring 18 goals to six in the last term to eventually run out 40-goal winners.
Rachel Phelan dominated the goal circle for Lexton, scoring 44 goals, while Leesa Donhardt added 26, while for Navarre, Darcy Crawford scored 16 goals, while Erin Chisholm scored 14.
