In January, the wonderful 19th century pipe organs scattered throughout the Goldfields will come to life at the Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields Festival.

The 27th festival will bring the finest musicians and singers together in 11 recitals from January 13 to 17. The focus of the festival is not only on music but also on the history of the area, its churches, its public buildings, its parks and gardens and its private homes and properties. Where possible this history is made available to the visitors either through written or oral presentation.

Visitors come from all over Victoria, Australia and internationally specifically for the festival to hear music as it was meant to be performed on the beautiful old organs.
