HARCOURT 16.15 (111) def NAVARRE 5.4 (34)
Harcourt was never challenged by Navarre on Saturday when the Lions set up their 77-point victory with a six-goal opening term, making it 35 victories on the trot.
The Lions showed why they are the premiership favourite with a classy performance all over the ground but set up their forward moves through the middle to overrun the Grasshoppers defence.
Jed Rodda was the key focal point up forward snagging six goals for the winners, while Cameron Anderson had another blinder and Josh Hogg was also in particularly good touch once again.
The Lions also named Kaleb McBride, Luke Anderson, Brayden Vaz and Chris Ling in their better players.
With the ball being in the Harcourt forward half for much of the game, it was Navarre defender Jayden Fowkes who got plenty of ball and was named as the Grasshoppers best player, along with Dustin Holmes, Nick Birthisel, Oliver Notting, Luke Hendy, and Angus Taylor. Hendy was the only multiple goal scorer with two for the game.
