HARCOURT 25.20 (170) def ROYAL PARK 4.3 (27)
It was another even perfor-mance across the board from Harcourt, taking victory by 143 points against Royal Park.
The Lions were dominant across every line, kicking seven goals to one in the opening quarter to open up a 39-point lead at the first change, before another eight goals to one behind saw them take a 90-point lead at the main break.
Royal Park did well to reduce the damage a little bit during the third quarter, with the Lions kicking four goals from 12 scoring shots, while kicking a goal themselves, but it was not enough to prevent the Lions from bursting through the 100-point barrier by leading by 116 at the final change.
A further six goals to two in the last quarter helped the Lions ease to victory.
Six goals to Alex Code and five goals to Baxter Gurd helped lead the way for the Lions, while Brayden Frost was outstanding in the ruck. Alongside him, Kaleb McBride, Kyle Hamilton, Benjamin Leech and Lachlan Mitchell were also good.
For Royal Park, Murray Bond kicked two goals, and was their best player, alongside Isaac Duncan, Mark Ashmore, Lachlan Bates, Michael Epworth and Rhys Wagstaff.
