Update: The tournament was called off at the 11th hour on Mondayfollowing meetings between the club and organisers after The Advertiser's printdeadline.

The Maryborough Golf Club will be hosting its annual tournament from Thursday through to Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, with a variety of rounds offered for golfers.

Five days of men’s and women’s golf will be offered in the 107th tournament.

On Thursday, the tournament will begin with the women’s three ball better ball stableford round, which will have a 10 am shotgun start.

There will be no golf on Friday, but the tournament continues on Saturday morning, with the men’s and mixed American round at 11 am.

On Sunday, the Andrew Maggs Memorial will be played as a men’s stroke round, which will see A and B grade golfers compete.

Monday will see the men’s and women’s four ball better ball stableford round, starting at 11 am.

Finally, on Melbourne Cup Day, the men’s and women’s four person Irish stableford round will conclude the tournament, with a 9.30 am shotgun start.
