With only the final preparations to be completed, the jam-packed schedule features many of the events and activities visitors have come to enjoy from one of Australia’s longest-running traditions.

The iconic sights and sounds of bagpipes played by Highland Pipe Bands and Brass Bands along High Street will kick off the celebrations.

Complementing the now iconic Girl on the Drum and Highland dancing performances is a highly competitive athletic program fronted by the $15,000 Max Martin Memorial Maryborough Gift.

A firework display will look to end the festivities with a bang and mark an exciting start to 2025.

The Maryborough Highland Society will once again be held at Princes Park on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $10 for seniors with free entry for children under 16.
