Local police are urging drivers to remain vigilant after a two-vehicle collision in Park Road on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Park Road and Holyrood Street at around 1.10 pm on Wednesday afternoon following reports of a collision.
According to police, a white Hyundai sedan had been travelling along Holyrood Street and failed to give way at the intersection, causing a utility to clip its rear end.
Both the male driver of the utility and female driver of the sedan were uninjured, however the woman was taken to the Maryborough Hospital for observation.
Maryborough Police First Constable Isaac Brewster said it was positive no one was injured, but urged drivers to follow the road rules.
“Make sure you’re always obeying the traffic signs and following road rules, it’s also important to look both ways before entering an intersection,” he said.
“There were no injuries at all to either party of both vehicles which is a good result.
“Accidents do happen and this is a reminder for drivers to be vigilant.”
The driver of the white sedan received an infringement notice for failing to give way.
