It’s safe to say Dunolly are giving their supporters heart palpitations so far in season 2023.
Their victory over Royal Park was their third such win by a goal this season, while they have also suffered a two-goal defeat.
This win was a gritty victory, with the Eagles coming from behind to earn four valuable premiership points.
Royal Park started the better, scoring 11 goals to seven in the opening period to open up a four-goal lead.
Dunolly hit back in the second quarter, however, and was able to cut the lead in half thanks to a nine-goal to seven quarter.
The Eagles made their move in the third quarter, scoring nine goals while restricting Bushy to just four to move three goals clear at the final change.
The Tigers tried to restore their lead during the final quarter, scoring 10 goals, but Dunolly did just enough to score eight goals to earn their victory.
Matisse Nelson scored 14 goals for Dunolly, while Samantha Cheetham added 12. For Royal Park, Jess Egan scored 18 goals, and Abbey Devereaux 14.
