Eagle-eyed enthusiast spots rare insects
Maryborough recently had two rare sightings of a butterfly and moth identified by a local citizen scientist.
Enthusiast David Bird said it was “pure luck” he saw two elusive moth and butterfly species locally. Inset: The Emerald Moth, pictured nearby Bristol Hill Tower, has only been photographed by a handful of people.
