After having the bye the previous week, it was a refreshed Dunolly that was too good for Talbot to the tune of 62 points.
The second half of the game was where the Eagles took control kicking nine second half goals to two, as the Eagles moved into fourth spot on the ladder ahead of Lexton, who dropped a spot after their 33-point loss to Harcourt.
Jake Willcocks was the star of the show snagging nine goals for the Eagles as he was unstoppable for the Hawks defence, and he was well supported by Daniel Trull who kicked four goals.
Oscar Keogh and Mitch Goodwin were also instrumental in getting the ball forward for Willcocks and Trull to take advantage of. Bailey Hall was also dominant in the ruck and Matt Bradley was also named among the better players for the Eagles.
Jude McGuire was once again named as the best player for Talbot as he has been numerous times this season, and others to play well were Mitchell Webb, Lachlan Ratcliff, Rhys Egan, Judd Troon and Bill Lindsay. All seven Talbot goals were scored by individual players.
Dunolly will now be preparing for what will be one of the games of the round next week against the Tigers as they battle for a top four finish to the home and away season.
