Reigning premiers Harcourt will look a little different in 2024, with two-time premiership winning coach Dan Wridgway stepping down to focus on his young family.
Under Wridgway’s watch, the Lions have won 27 games in succession, culminating in both the 2022 and 2023 premiership victories, both against Carisbrook.
Playing co-coach Kal Huntly, who took over the reins midway through the season after Wridgway took leave, is also on the move, having signed with Castlemaine, as has winning co-captain Darby Semmens.
The club has secured a replacement, with Carl Thiesz coming across from Marong to take over the role, with Jacob Ede his assistant.
