Driver safety urged following two vehicle Wareek collision
Police are urging driver caution following a two vehicle collision in Wareek on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of the Maryborough-St Arnaud Road and Porteous Road at around 10 am Saturday.
Local police believe that driver error caused the accident when a Holden Commodore sedan with five occupants failed to give way to a Toyota Landcruiser with two occupants.
It’s understood two of the seven people involved in Saturday’s collision were taken by ambulance to hospital.
Maryborough Police Acting Sergeant Chris Jeffery warns drivers to remain cautious on the roads.
“There has been a higher rate of serious injury and fatal collisions this year and Victoria Police advises the public to take care on the road, especially rural roads,” he said.
Acting Sgt Jeffery particularly warns drivers to be aware of morning conditions: from fatigue, to poor lighting, and kangaroos.
As of February 27 this year, 52 lives have been lost on Victorian roads, up 18.2 percent compared to the same time last year.
